MR Physicist for Hyperpolarization and Singlet State studies

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc who will develop NMR methods to improve hyperpolarization processes with para-hydrogen and the storage of polarization in long-lived singlet states. The initial appointment is for 2 years with possibilities for extension.He/she should have a strong background in NMR physics preferably in connection with hyperpolarization and singlet state NMR. Knowledge of NMR methods and relevant software (e.g. Mathematica, Matlab) is also desirable.

We offer an international and highly productive and innovative working atmosphere and provide state-of-the-art NMR equipment and collaboration possibilities especially with the “Institute for Biostructural Imaging of Neurodegeneration“ (BIN).

The position is to be filled by February 2017. The successful applicant will receive a salary according to the funding guidelines for young researchers of the Max Planck Society.
